Daniel Sikkema

Dan was exposed to many styles of dance before diving into ballroom. He is a professional 9-Dance competitor as well as an award-winning choreographer. With experience in American Smooth, American Rhythm, and club styles like West Coast Swing, Hustle, and Argentine Tango, Dan brings a versatile skill set to every lesson. He believes anyone can learn to dance and loves helping students grow, no matter their experience level.

Stephen & Elisa McCann

Stephen and Elisa share a lifelong love of dance. They competed professionally in the American Smooth Ballroom Division and have experience across all styles. Together, they have earned major titles, including: two-time Blackpool Dance Festival Finalists, United States Showdance Vice Champions, World Professional Ballroom Showdance Finalists, and Embassy Ballroom World Rising Star Smooth Champions. With over 30 years of combined training and teaching experience, they’re excited to help you take your dancing to the next level.

Nghia Ngo

Nghia is a San Diego based ballroom dance instructor passionate about bringing people together through dance. He believes that ballroom is more than just movement; it's a way to connect, communicate, and celebrate the joy of being part of a community!

Heather Best

Heather is McCann Dance's Associate Studio Manager. As first point of contact for students and staff, Heather's professionalism and helpfulness make a lasting impression. Not only is she a great studio coordinator, she also dances most styles, competes in the Gold Smooth Division and has won many accolades including placing in the Pro-Am Open Division Final at Blackpool Dance Festival.
